Another thing to check is something in gas tank. I had a 706 that would run great for a while and then quit. I thought it was when it would get hot but that was just coincidence. Drove me nuts trying to figure that one out. Finally one time when it quit it I took apart gas line, slipped a rubber hose over it and blew backwards into tank. Put it back together and it ran fine,,,,,for 15 minutes then quit again. Blew it again and it might run for two hours. Blew it again and might run for 5 minutes. Turns out there was some kind of leaf or grass in tank. Something to check.
