My only craigslist purchase so far. A 1951 John Deere A parts tractor. Found it on craigslist on a Saturday evening. It was 345 miles away. I called the number and he said he still had it. He had several calls but everyone wanted a running tractor. This one broke a rod and broke the block. I told him I wanted the tractor but could not come get it until the next Saturday. He said that was ok. I told him I would call again on Friday evening to see if it was still available. Called Friday and it was still available so I told him I would be there around noon on Saturday with cash in hand. 14 Hour road trip, got lots of good parts.
