Wanna have an eclipse party on August 21? lol
I got an email from Sunset Marina this morning telling there was a total eclipse across that area of Tennessee on August 21. First time since 1918. I got to seriously thinking about it. I was kind of looking for something a little different to do this year. I want to do Michigan and Ohio on the 127 sale two weeks before that,but our anniversary is the 18th. That's a Friday. The 21st is a Monday. I thought maybe we'd head for Lexington the 18th,spend part of Saturday with her family then go to Renfro Valley Saturday night. Maybe go to Cumberland Falls Sunday morning then head over to the lake. Spend Sunday night there and see the eclipse on Monday.
Yes I am the kind of guy who'd drive 500 miles to do that. I didn't used to be,but I would now. If anybody wants to get together around Dale Hollow Lake,Cookeville,Crossville,the whole area is in the path of the total eclipse. I just might start making some reservations before long.
