A friend wanted me to fix his window AC. The GFCI would trip as soon as I plugged it in. So I removed the ground wire from AC frame and GFCI still tripped. I took GFCI apart and as I suspected it had rain water in it. GERRRRRR. Took a hair dryer and now all is good.
I seem to be having a run of rain related issues.
How many times have you repaired something because it was left out in the rain? geo
