It is actually an Isuzu product, not a Chevy.
If it has the 5 cylinder engine, the valve train goes bad and you can't get parts. Only option is a (rare) junkyard head which probably has the same issues. At least that's what a friend of mine says. He said his was clacking away so bad it sounded like it was going to blow up. I rode in the truck and never heard a thing, even when he told me it was clattering right then and there. So I don't know what to believe. He might have just wanted to justify a new vehicle to his wife.
