I recently posted a question about u joints knocking. I found the problem!!!! In '09 I loaned the brush hog to a neighbor. He brought it back with a new u joint because he hit something and broke the joint because someone had slipped a bolt in the shear pin hole. I couldn't figure how to time the joints, so I pulled the metal sleeve off and found the 1 1/8 steel solid square shaft twisted almost 90 degrees. I bought a piece of steel and made a new shaft. Thanks to all who responded to my question. I never would have figured it out without you. Ellis
