Hi, if the 3pt goes down when the engine is off usually indicates that the seals are leaking in the 3pt lift cylinder. The brake problems could be caused by a leak in the brake master cylinders or brake lines that run under the transmission cover sheet metal back to the top of the axles or the O-rings on the brake wheel cylinders are leaking.
To test for leaking brake wheel cylinders, bleed the brakes, park the tractor on the level then leave it shut off for a day or two and before starting it, press each brake one at a time. If only one brake pedal goes to bottom then that wheel cylinder is leaking or the brake line is leaking. Make sure the transmission Hytran level is over full by 5 gallons or more.
