We're fortunate that the previous owners here planted their Spruce's far enough away. However, I need to take down an old Oak and a VERY mature Quaking Aspen. The Aspen is no more than 4' away from the house. Every time we get a wind storm, I'm holding my breath.
Well, having your Spruce out of there will allow for better air flow around your house. Beautiful place!
