Kinda something unique we got ourselves into here. I'd never been up close to an old super beetle until yesterday when we brought it home, things are tiny! Engine is supposedly rebuild, just need to get a clutch on it, then see if it'll run or not. Idea is it'll restored to almost original. Interior is original and in very good condition, and only surface rust, nothing real deep. Its a 1972, 4 speed manual, 76,000 miles. Haven't decided what color to paint it yet. Let it rust for Sweetfeet? Or blue for Larry the corner guy?
