Just a note to let folks know that a nice variety of tractors will be sold this weekend in Hutchinson, KS at the Kansas MCC Relief Sale. Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) is a Mennonite agency that works globally to help those in need and these sales are held to fund the efforts. There are a total of six tractors being auctioned: restored Case DV (a rare model - only about 500 produced), restored Ford 8N, restored Allis WC (steel rear, rubber front), Farmall H, Deere 40S, and a Massey Harris Pony. All these tractors were donated with a number of people being involved in the restoration or "tidying up" of them prior to being auctioned. The ones not described above as restored are still in very clean, usable shape. The tractors and other auction items can be viewed at the sale website: http://kansas.mccsale.org

Over the fourth of July weekend, the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield, Illinois, was the site of the Old Gold National Antique Tractor Show.
