The Price. I bought one of these new back in the late 80's maybe 1990 for a little under $1000.00 I had an old used one I bought at the IH dealer back in the early 1980's for $60. Used it for years then upgraded to a new one. I loved them. I knew this one farmer who had two of them. Him and his wife loved them also. They seemed fast when you drove them and the controls were easy to operate. They're not good on hills though. I remember when I was a young teenager I saw these at the county fair. They had one on a wagon running in a "Figure 8" track that was layed out on the wagon and it just drove it's self around. It was pretty cool. Saw my first Grasshopper zero-turn that day at the fair too. I knew those were the ones to have back then.
