Ok so it is a Custom , all the means is when it came off the rail car or truck it came with one remote one headlight each side and usually a seat with no spring suspension . They were a cheapened up version of the 856 . Only one was ever sold around here when new . Now either ya got the wronf part in the correct box or at one time or other someone changed out both gears to the old style on top or the bottom . don't know where ya got the parts from and don't care . I know this is not what you want to hear but there is only one way to fix the problem and that is put the splitting stands back on it and split it .
