Stonerock, I am primarily a sales manager. However I happen to like trucks, and I have held a CDL for some thirty years. For most of that time I had Hazmat endorsement for the trucking company that I used to own. To get hazmat you have to know the book. I also have tanker endorsement. The truck that I drive now is a triaxle Mack Granite dump truck. I don't often pull a trailer but sometimes I haul equipment, and when I do I tie it down properly with CHAINS. BUT, I could use straps, provided that I had enough, and provided that I had sleeves on them to prevent chafing. Keep on Truckin'!!!
