I watched about 3 or 4 of the vids following this one and saw a train that had THE largest snow plow I've ever seen in my life - huge extension wings on both sides. The train came to a near dead stop in order to get as close as possible to some sign poles. Had no problems picking up speed again.
Another was slowing down because some idiot was standing entirely too close to the tracks and the engineer was afraid of hurting the person with all that snow.
I doubt the snow at the station would have been much of a match for the train.
