Nice looking old pumper, It hard to say what it will bring, not much here, most debts have been able to upgrade to 80's and 90's models diesel automatics, not many with manual trans around anymore. Local city dept sold off some of their surplus recently, one was a 78 Ford F-750 391 gas 5 spd with 13,000 miles, 1000 gpm pump, only thing wrong was a rusted brake line, area farmer gave $2600 for it, said he was going to scrap the pumper body and put a grain dump on.
In 2010 we got a FEMA Grant to purchase a new pumper, IH 4400 two door chassis, 330 hp diesel, Allison automatic, air brakes, 1500 gpm Darley, 1000 gallon tank, 200 cfm CAFS system, 10kw generator, $287K truck cost us $13k, had to borrow half of that.
