On the New York CBS evening news, a feature is "living large". The segment has been running every day for several years. Usually featured is a lavish apartment near Central Park In the 9-10 million dollar range. Sometimes the feature is a lavish estate in the New York City area in the 10-20 million dollar range. Property taxes in the $100,000 category. I don't know who lives in these places, but some people are really taking in the dough to be able to live there. The next story usually features the burgeoning homeless in the city, or another big building fire displacing yet more people. I get weary of news.
