Sometimes you have to extend the hitching points on implements to get the clearance and spacing you need for ease of use. You will have better luck on most smaller implements using a cat I quick hitch. I have put one on my 3020 as well as on my 2010, ford 4000, and New Holland. I have had to adjust or modify some of the equipment for ease of hitching, but now it is a snap to use everything. I have all of the following set up to instantly hitch on any of the above tractors: rotary mower, 6 ft. tiller, 4-row corn cultivator, vegetable cultivator, 6 ft disk, boom sprayer, shielded sprayer, plastic layer, two row planter, carry-all, rear-mounted lift forks, 7 ft field cultivator, and plant setter. About the only 3-point equipment I have not been able to use the quick hitch on is the moldboard plow and a post hole auger. Now on the 4020 I would have to use a cat II hitch for width and strength, but it is too big for most of my equipment anyway.
