Clearance from ground to frame, when in use they have about 8" from ground to bottom of the frame. There is more than that just setting on top of ground but you take off 3" for shovels in ground and then the loose ground you roll up working will make less clearance yet. Just trying to work ground following soybean harvest there is not enough clearance for the bean stalks to work through, fall cut beans problem spring after fall cut no problem. It is just a light weight fore runner of the chisel plow or the current disk chisel. And designed to do the work of a chisel plow. And then you have no guide to keep it running straight on the rows. Without a guide disk they will wander from side to side. Working ground not a problem, trying to follow a row is. You could set the shanks to fit the rows but you will not be happy about it.
