Does anyone you know have one of the small inspection cameras/bore scope???? My son has one he bought on line for about $15 that hooks to a smart phone. You can get them that hook to a computer too. You can look down into the transmission with it. The one in my picture is only $13 on Ebay.
P.S. Not to be a smart butt, Are you 100% sure the wrench went into the transmission??? A fellow mechanic, at the first dealer I worked at, thought he had dropped a loner bolt into the top of a transmission. As he got under the tractor to install the splitting stands he found the bolt had hit the floor and rolled under the lugs of the rear tire. You could not see the bolt unless you got clear down a floor level under the tractor.
