Just a few bits of info to first clarify a few things.
I use google chrome if that makes any difference so I don't know what the screen look like for those who use others.
I only use "classic view" here on YT so I don't know what's different on Modern View if anything.
The procedure I use is by a self-taught bumbling trial and error and there may be easier ways to do it but it works for me.
Know that you have to have text along with your picture. If you want to post a picture only, them just simply put a period in the text box right away. You will notice when jon f mn posts the daily funny, there is always a period floating around there somewhere. If you forget to do this, it will prompt you later in the sequence but its easier to just do it in the beginning.

1. So start with *reply* or start your own post.
2. Under *comments*, add the period or add your text.
3. Scroll down to bottom of the page under Advanced Posting Tools hit *Upload*
4. Under Photo Gallery Upload hit *Choose File*
5. Find your picture and click on it once and only once. The file name should appear at the bottom of the page. Click *Open*
6. This should return you to the YT page. Your file name should automatically appear next to the Choose File box. If it is correct, then click *Upload* once and only once.

This is the part most people get tripped up on. Be patient. My uploads take about 30 seconds but sometimes up to two minutes.

Look for your refresh arrow circling in your upper task bar to know if its working or a countdown may pop up as a lower task bar at the bottom of the page. Some people don't realize it takes time and they start hitting the upload button again or they back out of the page. My files are too large or have too many pixels so it takes awhile because I just haven't bothered to teach myself how to resize them for faster uploads. After the upload is complete, YT may still take additional time to process it. Sometimes YT can't process it and I have to start the whole process over if it locks up on me.

7. When the upload is complete, a thumbnail image of your picture should pop up. If correct, hit *Continue*. (If not, follow the prompt to start over.)

Optional:
At this juncture you may add another picture by clicking on (Choose File) and repeat the procedure.

8. Otherwise hit *Preview Your Reply* This will let you see your picture and proofread your text before you submit it.

Optional:
9. Hit *Return To Form* or use your back page button to go back and make changes.

Note: It won't let you submit without any text so if you forgot to type something at the very beginning then it will automatically prompt you to so now. If you don't want to type a message, then add a period or any character at this point to satisfy the text prompt.

10. Hit *Preview Your Reply* again if you made any changes or added text, otherwise...

11. Hit *Submit Reply* and welcome to the world of sharing photos on YT!

Today's Featured Article - The Day Mom Drove the 8N - by Brian Browning. My Dad was wanting to put in a garden but couldn't operate the 8N and handle the old horse drawn plow he had found and rigged up to use with the tractor. Well, he decided to go get Mom out of the house and have her drive the tractor while he walked behind the plow. You got to understand that while my Mom is a hard worker who will always help whenever she can... she had never operated farm machinery before that day. Dad got her out there, explained how the clutch was the same as in our o ... [Read Article]
