I think 'overpriced' is used instead of the term 'new price' on things including land many times.There has been a huge infusion of money into the US financial system since the economic problems back in 2008 and its mostly been held by the banks and put into the stock market when it starts to flow into the mainstream economy thru bank loans and sale of stocks think we'll see a lot of new high priced records set.
