I am in Toronto, Tractor is in Wiarton Ontario. I could have sworn I was set to the low grear range. Failing this I will have to reach out to a tractor mechanic as I am at a loss.

BTW: The tractor had not run for years when I bought it. New Carb, new coil, new starter solenoid, new gas pump and rebuilt distributor did the trick.
