Hi Bill, 45 years of experence with Manitou fork lift trucks and telescopic handlers 35 of thoes years with my own business. The machine in the photo looks like one of the MB-C range of machines using an IH 444 tractor skid unit. If so the engine will be a BD154 diesel engine as used in the IH 414,434 and 444 tractors. the transmission will have a forward and reverse gearbox in front of the 8 speed tractor box.
