A few years back I had my 05 Ford Escape at my local small town Ford dealer for oil change etc. They always run the 20 point inspection.This time they said the battery had a low cell and was going to fail. They didn't try to sell me a battery were just letting me know. When I got home I load tested it and it tested fine. A couple of months later I went to start it and battery was shot. No it didn't sit unused for two months, it just happened two months later. Glad it was at home and not on the road somewhere.
