After reading all of the other comments, here is my little bit.
1)Why are they fooling with your battery when that is not what the truck is there for??
2) Sounds like a case of "business is a bit slow, so we need to raise some revenue."
3) Why fix what is not broken??
4) As another poster said, batteries are a crap shoot. That battery might very well last you another 5 years. A replacement might fail even before the one you have now.
5) Get a second opinion. Have the battery tested elsewhere. If it REALLY needs a battery, deal with it yourself. You will save a lot of money.
