I ALWAYS make sure that my tractors are in between gears, neutral when I shut them down. Always. I NEVER leave one in gear, but caught someone using one once without permission when I grabbed the gear lever to slap it around to make sure that it was in neutral and it was in gear. They admitted it after I confronted them. Had I not grabbed that lever to check as I always do before hitting the starter button...
