Hey All, I have been restoring a 1946 VAI and have been having some trouble stopping a rear axle leak. I replaced both rear axles and the right side is completely dry and fine and the left continues to leak. I read in one of the forums that someone had doubled up the seals due to the old rawhide seals causing rust pitting on the axle so i tried that and thought I had solved the problem, but it has again began seeping around the axle. I'm open to any and all thoughts on this as my dad VAC has also began leaking and I will soon have to tackle that problem as well. Thanks in advance.
