Ah yes that's true, also if the 3 point hitch is out of adjustment, it will constantly try to raise the hitch. Once it get to the top it will stay pumping out the hitch relief valve and not also flow to the loader circuit. The steering will continue to work due to priority valve but the fluid will heat up quickly. Other think to watch is the remote valves frequently get bumped by the drivers knee putting the valve into the constant pumping detent. They are often set so tight on the detent they don't kick out and just pump against the relief valve. I think they are after the hitch valve in the sequence but my book is out on loan to a 584 owner with a constantly running PTO.
