Ohio, yes a bit far! Now, this is off (serial number) topic but I'm trying to remove the upper part of the (manual) steering box and need to get the U-Joint yoke off the end of the shaft that comes out of the housing. I have the roll pin out and I've undone the steering shaft support bracket, and have quite heavily bumped the front end of the yoke several times but no movement on the shaft at all. I'm planning on cooking it up to expand it and then bump it some more once i pick up some more acetylene tomorrow. The manual says to just bump it off - any thoughts on that? Have you removed this type of manual steering gear before?
