Use only the correct fluid, Compare what is in it to new, and it could be that bogus fluid was put in. If the lift works well the the 1/2 way point, it is either low on fluid, or a mechanical issue. If the lift cylinders are 2 way and the top port is plugged, they might be hydraulically locked from bypassed oil being on top of the piston, stopping it. Be careful testing this as if the plug is removed and the lift operated it can squirt oil for several yards/meters. A vented cap should be used on that port. Jim
