Hello everyone. I am new to the forum and want to see what others might think my issue is. I recently purchased a house and out in the barn was a 1975 power king tractor with a kohler k321. All the wires were ripped out of it and parts were missing. I replaced the ignition switch, coil, condenser, points, plug and plug wire. The tractor ran great and i was able to drive it around a couple times. The other day I fired it up and pulled it out of the barn and it just died. I have no spark. In my trouble shooting I found that I can get the plug to fire only when the key is turns to the off position. What could cause the tractor to go from running to doing this? Is my ignition switch fried? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
