yes flush if you have junk in there. diesel does little to carry the junk out, it has no viscosity to carry fine particles out. they just sit on the bottom of case.also not the best for brgs. or diff if driving to flush as no lube. i use used ordinary hyd. oil which i have access to from work. there is many ways to flush it. save your old oils and settle them out and use for flushing. mix old gear oil with 1/2 diesel. drive or block rear wheels up and run tractor in gear. raise front end to drain.
