My uncle 78 yr old has a approx 1949 8N for which he says he left key on and my have burned up points. We put new plugs into day grounded NO SPARK. Honestly it needs wire, points condensor the works. The distributor is front mount and I cant get in there with my big hands. Someone told me you could pull entire distributor out carefully and replace points set the , new cap etc and slide it back down on motor. Question#2 with no fire do you think coils bad of points just burnt up and help would be appreciated....Thanks Ricky In Western North Carolina :D
