You are correct on build #s and yes they used left over countershaft housings from the farmall regulars. IH did not waste any parts so in late 1933 they made the decision to use up leftover wide tread housings. It is a very desirable piece to any F series collector for there collection. There are a few guys that have them including myself and kinda hard to find but not extremely rare but like I said very desirable. Great find and a picture or two would be great.
