There is an ISO standard but many attachments DO NOT have the "standard" dimension. The companies either could not meet the standard because of requirements of their equipment drives of just did not bother with it. Also it depends on the age. The ISO standards did not become finalized and accepted until the mid 1970s. Even then companies did not adopt them on the current equipment but waited until "NEW" models where designed. AN example would be the ISO/pioneer hydraulic couplers. These did not become universal until the early 1980s.
