I wonder though at people that tell me about how many guns they have, essentially for "Personal Protection". When I ask where they keep the guns, they tell me they are locked away in a gun safe in the basement behind the stairs, furnace, etc. Guess they want to be sure that the kids can't have access to a gun. How long does it take to access a gun safe when a burglar is in the house?
Guy at work said that he has two pistols for personal protection; when I asked where he kept them he replied that they are in a safety deposit box at the bank where his wife works. I don't think that a criminal is going to wait for him to go to the bank.
