I concur with you. I thought they jumped from one subject to another without any kind of lead in so it was a little hard to follow. Noticed right away that lots of the scenes with wheat really wasn't wheat at all, some looked liked oats and some looked like some kind of tall grass. Also agree that it was poorly directed, with lousy technical advice but what the heck, it was somewhat entertaining. Watched it more for the scenes of old steam engines, horses and old trucks than for the story line. I'm old enough to have been involved with what little threshing was still being done in the 1940's and 50's to appreciate being able to watch some old machines at work. Too bad we didn't take pictures and movies back then.
