The sign on the shop was B+d welding when I went to work there which was for Bob and Dave, the original owner and son. Then John Killian bought it and that is when I went to work there. The sign stayed like that for a year or so til John changed it to John's b+d welding. That lasted til we became partners and the name changed to John's welding and Hitch. I'm not sure if the name shows on the grey steel building as I didn't put up a sign right away either, but the move to that building was my move on my own and that business was call North Metro Welding and Supply.
Jim is Jim Panken of Bob Panken Masonry, the son of the owner of several of those trailers and a good customer of both John and I. That trailer was for Jim's crew, each of at least 3 brothers had a crew and at least one trailer. He is still around and in the Isanti Mn phone book so you can call him to check on my story of you like.
What's next, a DNA test to see if the blood on those projects is actually mine and I'm not a cyborg?
