On the subject, very vague inputs here but here goes. Sometime back GM went to a 3 part frame where the front was pressure formed tube filled with water and put in a forming press, the center section was C and the rear was boxed. Next thing you know Dodge had what looked to be the same thing.....and while I'm at it I pulled a brake part off a late model Dodge I had (brake drum or rotor forget which) and GM was stamped on it...bought the truck new from an authorized dealer. That tags 2 similarities between the two of the (once) big 3??????
My 2011 doesn't have that frame. Did rust have anything to do with it????
