Well are ya'll ready for this one , 203 Dodge Durango with the old iron block 360 is still on the org . battery . Yep i have never in my life had a battery go past 8 years . This one is still going . Three years ago we had a really deep cold snap and i was dead sure that when the War Dept. went out in the morning to go to work that i would have to go out and get the truck going to drag the Durango out of the garage and have to jump it as there is noway to get to the ft. end to open the hood . But it fired up with no problems then again the next year and the next and on into this year. Last time i had it running was the first week in Dec. to go deer hunting and it has not moved since . When this rain lets up i have to go and get some machine work done and we will see if it starts. When this battery dies i think i'll have it bronzed .
