A wide 3 pt blade on a large tractor will move light snow much faster than the 8N, and you would be more comfortable in the larger tractor cab. Can you angle an 8 foot blade and still cover your wheel tracks, or do you need a wider blade? It sounds like you could leave the wider blade on a different tractor than the loader tractor if you wanted.
Shop around, I could be wrong, but I think you can probably buy a good used 8 to 10 foot HD blade any day of the week for less money than you can get selling you 8N and loader, so I would not be in a big hurry to trade. Reading between the lines it sounds like you would still like to keep the little tractor for cutting brush. If you can afford it, keep it. It shouldn't hurt the old 6 foot blade to sit outside, but you could flip it upright to save shed space or sell it if you no longer need it.
