You are on the break even between models. So first question that needs answered is does it have a 4 speed tranny as in 8N or 3 speed tranney as in 2N? The 2N is listed in serial lists as the last 2N being a 47 model and the 8N listed as being a 48 model but they were started to be made in middle of year break for year models like you could have bought a 2017 model car in October of 2016. So you are at the point of determining and letting us now first 3 speed or 4 speed. Then if 4 speed a way to figure if it is one of the first batch made in 47 and sold as a 48 or made later in 48 and sold as a 48. The 8 in 8N designates it as being a model released for 48, the 2 in 2N released in 42 and the 9 in 9N as being released in 39.
