Not infrared but perhaps worthy of a look. I installed a non-vented wall mount catalytic propane unit in my shop eleven years ago last month. I am in NH and I go through about 150 gal. of propane per winter. I maintain it at Fifty degrees and bump up to about 58 when I go in. The heater is in an inner insulated room that is 16x22x10, but it keeps the rest of the 40x50x17 building from freezing.
