The other thread got me thinking, it shouldn't be to difficult. A 2 button remote, you hold button 1 to warm the glow plugs for 10 seconds, then button 2 for the starter. It won't start the accessories until you get on and turn the key, but it will get the engine and fluids warm while you get ready.
China has kits with remotes fairly cheap. I would get a set of relays to avoid running glow plug and starter hot lines directly through the cheap chinese relay, but it should work. You can still use key functionality for normal starting, or warm it up for 10min, then hop on, turn the key for accessories, and have everything ready to go.
People have heaters, radios, etc in their tractors these days, why not add remote start?
