Hi everyone; I have an IH 756 with a D-310 diesel that has spun a rod bearing. The local salvage yard has a D-358 out of a 1420 combine that is relatively low hours. (under 3000). He says it should fit. I am wondering if anyone has done this if so what needs to be changed? The rest of the tractor is in good shape despite having 10k+ hrs. But still makes a good yard tractor.
