We have had a couple of truck bed campers over the years. first one was a crank up Siesta,lived in it in Alaska for work.Then a Lance 8', top of the line but heavy. Kids grew up in it, 4H, motocross etc.but it didn't get used enough IMHO.
Now we are in our 60's we have been talking about a class 2 towing a sub compact.
I have to add that we went to Crater Lake and Yellowstone last year and stayed at their hotels. If you do the math it's cheaper but no campfire;>]
