Here with wages, social security, insurance [ even if just workers comp ] drive costs to above $25 and $30 an hour for many employees, when it can be done somewhere else for less than $4 or $5. If labor is the high cost of the product it is simple economics. American workers don't want to live like those poor people, along with the fact that we all frequent those stores and buy those low cost products. Blame some of it on the American consumer. And of course, it does not bother Trump to lie, embellish the truth, as much as most people. The Carrier victory is good publicity, but just that. When he and his GOP buddies start hacking social security and medicare, buyers remorse will bring his dishonesty to light. Should be interesting.
