I think there has been too much going against the US manufacturer for too long to see anyone be able to fix it. I think the US will be a third world country before everyone wakes up. It's bad enough with the regulations and labor unions but a lot falls on the American worker. Most of them if you ask them what they are making they will tell you eight hours. Most don't invest themselves in the company they are working for. Therefore with international competition these companies have no choice but to move somewhere where they can survive. People in these impoverished countries really want the work.
