Well lets start off with what you have. Front mount distributor say it is a 8N if it has 4 forward gears or a 2N or 9N if you have 3 forward gears. Jubilee has an over head valve engine and a 5 nipple distributor cap That said try these things #1 run a hot wire from the ignition side of the battery to the coil and see if it will run and run like it should. If it runs hot wired then the problem is most likely a bad ignition switch since they do go bad and when they do it can do as it is doing. If it still dies then check to see if your getting a good blue/white spark at all 4 plug wires that will jump a 1/4 inch gap. If you have a good spark then got to #2Pull the carb drain plug and make sure you have a good steady flow of gas that will fill a pint jar in less then 3 minutes. Then post back what you find
