Marcus,If there is something wrong with the fuel system,Just rebuild it.Most of the time if anything causes a problem it is the fuel regulator or fuel lock valve.You can get rebuild kits for them at a reasonable low cost.After a time they become gummed up with a thick tar like substance,that also hardens and cracks rubber control valves and diaphragms. The engine will run many many X longer and trouble free on L/P PROPANE as it will on gasoline. 1 install a new set of spark plugs 2 install new air filter 3 install block heater,it may have one check for plug and cord. 4 try pushing button in a couple seconds on fuel lock before cranking. 5 check vacuum hose from carb to fuel lock for leaks,cracks or loose ends at fittings 6 try a shot of starting fluid in the intake 7 Dirty/plugged filter inside fuel regulator
